How does XS Pricing compare to other providers?
XS Bags and Boxes provide you with a door-to-door price and a door-to-door service. Some countries customs authorities may charge a minimal customs fee on your items (depending on the declared value). Other providers may quote very small per kilogram pricing but unlike XS bags and Boxes you will be caught with all their ancillary charges such as:
- Airport terminal fees
- Storage fees
- Delivery from the airport
- Documentation fee
- Brokers fee
- Etc etc..
The small per kilo price becomes very EXPENSIVE! So, if you want to save money and don't like hidden charges get the elephant on the case.

Do XS Bags and Boxes send globally?
Yes! By utilising the international Postal Network we can reach every address on the planet. So what are you waiting for? get the elephant on the case.
Do I have to pick my bags up from the airport?
No! We provide you with a door-to-door price we give you a door-to-door service. Many other providers will make you go to the destination airport to pick up your bags, or they will charge you an extra fee to have your bags delivered from the airport to your home! So if you don't want the extra hassle and spend the extra cash you better get the elephant on the case.
Is it a door to door service?
In majority of destinations we do provide a door to door service, hence the reason for a door to door price. In some instances (such as Sri Lanka) you may have to collect your items from the local postal authority. The postal authority will notify you that your shipment has arrived and is available to collect (still beats picking it up from the airport!)
How long will it take for my baggage to reach it's destination?
XS Bags and Boxes utilise the international Postal Network. The general transit times are listed in the table below for the different regions of the world.

Are there extra charges at the destination?
The only charges that may appear at the destination could be customs or duties charges depending on the declared value of your goods. This is rare and will vary from country to country. Many postal items as opposed to airfreight items will not attract customs duty. This is another reason why XS bags and Boxes can provide you with a door-to-door price. So, if you don't like hidden charges and your not fooled by a cheap per kilogram rate then get the get the elephant on the case.
How should my items be packed?
You should use strong durable packaging. Remember, your goods are not just going down the street! They are travelling to another country and you don't want them to arrive damaged. Please ensure:
- your boxes are of good quality
- they are taped up properly to ensure they will not come undone
- bags are not already ripped or damaged (if so ensure they are taped up properly)
- Do not exceed 25kg per bag or box
- Address labels are adhered
- Use bubble wrap for sharp and pointy items
- Create your own itemised packing list

How should I label my bags?
All bags or boxes should be labelled clearly in English. You should also provide a phone number for the destination address if possible.
Should I provide a packing list?
Yes, it is advisable to provide a packing list . XS Bags and Boxes can email you a blank packing list for you to complete and attach to your paperwork for transit with your goods. This will be used for customs purposes and could assist in a speedier clearance at your country of destination. Once you have completed your packing list don't waste any time, get the elephant on the case.
What if my bag weighs more than what I thought?
XS Bags and Boxes weigh all baggage on our industry approved and certified digital scales. If your bag weighs more than what you have paid for we will contact you and inform you of the difference and the extra cost owing. So, if you know the weight of your bag and you don't want to spend more money than you have to get the get the elephant on the case.
What is the heaviest each bag or box can be?
The maximum weight per item is 25kg. We don't want our couriers breaking their backs trying to pick up your bag and we are governed by international postal regulations in terms of maximum allowable weight per item.
Do XS Bags and Boxes Offer Insurance?
Unfortunately not for this service. If you specifically require insurance we do have the express courier service where you can choose the insurance option at 3% of the declared value fo your goods.
